Barry Crimmins is a highly experienced and trusted advocate and advisor to residential and commercial developers, property owners, and business owners in real estate transactions, land use planning and development, and municipal permitting matters. His work includes appearing regularly before municipal boards throughout Eastern Massachusetts.
When not counseling clients or representing them before local boards, Barry often is serving his community as a dedicated member of the boards of well-known Massachusetts non-profit organizations.
For 35 years, Mr. Crimmins has represented a wide array of individuals and businesses in residential and commercial real estate transactions and developments, negotiating and drafting purchase and sale agreements, leases, and related documents. His practice also includes representing clients before Zoning Boards of Appeal, Planning Boards, Conservation Commissions, and other boards and commissions in all aspects of land use planning and permitting.
Mr. Crimmins is a member of the Massachusetts Real Estate Bar Association (“REBA”) and the Bar Association of Norfolk County. He is also a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and serves on its Real Estate Law Section Council.
Mr. Crimmins has served as an elected member of the Stoughton Housing Authority for over 30 years and currently serves as its chairman. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Old Colony YMCA and the Massachusetts Board of Directors of the American Red Cross.
Barry is a life-long resident of the Town of Stoughton, Massachusetts, where he resides with his wife and two children.
Mr. Crimmins earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from Bentley College and his Juris Doctorate degree from New England School of Law.
Mr. Crimmins has been named a “Top Lawyer” by Boston Magazine for 2024 and 2025 in the areas of Land Use and Environmental Law.
